Donelle Lacy is a fantasy illustrator who specializes in pen and ink, and digital work. She likes fairytale themes and vivid colors. Some artists who influenced her growing up are Mercer Mayer, Patricia Coombs, and Brian Froud.

Donelle received her BFA in Drawing from Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio and her MFA in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. She lives in Southern Ohio with her family and two spoiled cats. 

When she isn't drawing or writing, Donelle works as a clerk and occasional programmer at Adams County Public Library

Teaches Homeschool Teen/Preteen Art Class at two branches of the Adams County Public Library during the school year
